Also, libraries and friends require that you give the book back. They're not giving copies away, they're lending them, downloading a book means you can keep it indefinitely so it's not like a library or a friend because even the best friend is probably going to want their book back at some point. That's why some books on e-readers come with lending options, because people like to share books they like but there needs to be some kind of a return policy from them because there is a DEFINITE difference between borrowing something that has been paid for and just stealing.

Oh, hi!

My name is Jackson Pearce-- I'm the author of retold fairytales (SISTERS RED, SWEETLY, FATHOMLESS, COLD SPELL), funny contemporary stories (PURITY), tales of wishes come true (AS YOU WISH), and middle grade adventures (THE DOUBLECROSS, coming July 2015, and PIP BARTLETT'S GUIDE TO MAGICAL CREATURES, coming May 2015).

This is NOT my main blog page-- this is a syndicated livejournal account. Please check out my main blog/site at www.jacksonpearce.com!
