School Packets

Hurrah! I can be productive! I've almost got my 7k for the day written (about 2k left!), and finally put together my school visit packets that I've been poking at for ages now. I only sent them to six local private schools- I have more personal access to the public schools, so I thought I'd see where word of mouth got me before I started mailing things.


Man, do I ever love office supplies.
I sent a little packet of visit info and DVDs that contain a few of my vlogs (but, um, not the one where I say "ass" repeatedly or the one where I practically moon the camera). Hopefully it all screams "let me come talk! please! I love to talk!"

I did! I got stamps at Target and just stamped them up. I thought it might get them a little more attention without being obnoxious.

I think the dvds are a great idea - as a teacher, I know it's great to have a sense of how someone speaks before booking an author visit.
